Unbelievable House Washing, Vinyl Fence Soft Washing, & Wood Cleaning In Alabaster, AL

The owner of this home in Alabaster, AL stated that the property had been sitting unoccupied for quite some time, but she had decided to turn it into a rental. The customer wanted to get all of the necessary cleaning done prior to listing the home for rent and wanted to know what we could do to help. She told us everything she was wanting to have done, so we got to work on looking at all of the surfaces that needed cleaning. On of the top concerns was the algae growth on the roof. Upon further inspection of the roof, we determined that while the roof did have a considerable amount of algae growth, there was also significant granular loss from the shingles. While we enjoy performing roof cleanings, we also want the customer to be comfortable in knowing that we're also looking out for their best interests down the road. We advised this customer that due to the amount of granular loss from the shingles, that we thought it would be best for her to contact a roofer rather than paying for a roof cleaning as this would only increase her costs on a roof that we felt like needed replacing. Adding on services for sake of increasing the overall cost of a project when an underlying issue is present is just wrong and something that we do not do.

For the house washing, vinyl fence soft washing, and wood cleaning, we didn't find anything with those areas that we felt were alarming issues and provided the customer with quotes for those. After about 3 days the customer reached back out to us and hired us to perform the work she was quoted for. She also thanked us for pointing out the issue with the roof and stated that she had contacted a roofer and he confirmed that the roof did need replacing, but she could hold off for budgeting reason for no longer than a year.

The overall cleaning of the different areas took 2.5 days as there was a lot of algae and moss growth. The customer was extremely happy with the results of the work and left an absolutely wonderful review for us on Google including pictures of her own that she had taken.
