Superior Metal Building Cleaning & Concrete Cleaning In Northport, AL

Local electrical contractor, Patco Electrical Contractors, Inc. in Northport, AL, hired us for a soft wash metal building cleaning and for a concrete cleaning on their sidewalks. The metal building had become dirty from years of pollen and grime accumulation on the exterior of the building, and the sidewalks were showing signs of algae accumulation and moss growth.

When cleaning the exterior of a metal building, it's important to understand that while the building can be cleaned using high pressure alone, this method often leads to unwanted results such as removing oxidation un-uniformly thereby creating a zebra-like look on the side of the building. High pressure can also remove paint from the metal surface.

We completed this metal building cleaning using our low pressure soft wash system and a chemical cleaner that is used to kill the algae and moss organic growth down to the roots. By killing the root system of the organic growth, the growth is able to be removed using minimal pressure.

For the concrete cleaning, we use the same chemicals used for the metal building cleaning, but with the assistance of high pressure in the washing process to reach down into the smallest of cracks and ridges of the concrete's surface revealing the concrete's true look and color. After the washing process, we rinsed the concrete using plain water and medium pressure.
