Remarkable Concrete Cleaning In Acton, AL

The primary focus on this Acton, AL property was the concrete. There were places where we cleaned the vinyl siding, but ensuring the homeowner received a proper concrete cleaning was our main focus. She stated that her husband had recently passed and that it had probably been 10 years or so since the concrete had a good cleaning. This customer too was also concerned about her plants, and after thoroughly explaining our process for ensuring all of her plants would be protected, she hired us to complete this project.
Prior to starting any project in which we use sodium hypochlorite, we always spray all of the surrounding plant life with plain water to protect it from the algaecide. Think of grass, plant, flowers, etc. as like a sponge. It's going to soak up whatever it comes in contact with first. By watering the plant life around the work area, we quinch the thirst of the dry plant with water, effectively preventing the plant from absorbing the algaecide cleaning solution.
After ensuring the plant life is protected, we get to work by applying a pre-treatment of the solution mixed with a soap binder. The soap helps break the surface tension of the substrate being cleaned and helps the algaecide "stick" to the surface rather than just running off in the path of least resistance. After approximately 10 to 15 minutes, we start the cleaning process by using a 20 inch rotary surface cleaner for the larger, main body areas of the concrete. We follow up by trimming out or edging with a wand and the appropriate high pressure tip. After all of the concrete has been cleaned, we rinse the concrete with medium pressure to wash away all of the dirty water. We then apply a post-treatment to help in deep cleaning and breakup of the smallest molecules of grime, and for continued brightening in the coming weeks. At this point, we'll once more spray the plant life with plain water to ensure no overspray remains that may have gotten on plant life during the rinsing or post-treatment processes.
