Professional Brick Cleaning & Concrete Cleaning In Northport, AL
The management team of this small apartment complex in Northport, AL hired us to pressure wash all of their concrete sidewalks and soft wash a few key brick areas. While traditional pressure washing works great on concrete, pressure washing is not always the best choice when it comes to cleaning brick. For this particular job, we chose to soft wash the brick using our low pressure soft wash system to preserve the integrity of the aging bricks of this complex.
Due to the age of the brick and the type of brick used when building this complex, soft washing was the more viable option ensuring no damage to the brick and the mortar. By applying a chemical algaecide and soap mixture using low pressure, we were able to kill all of the algae and moss growth that had been growing for years. Killing the roots of the organic growth in this situation is key in removing the growth using low pressure. By using low pressure to rinse away the dead organics, we ensure no damage comes to the aging brick and mortar of this income generating property.
