Incredible House Washing & Roof Cleaning in Northport, AL

This small cabin on Lake Tuscaloosa needed some freshening up as it's been used as a guest vacation house in the past primarily for gameday weekends during football season. The property needed a good house washing and roof cleaning. The Northport, AL property is owned by a local business owner who stated that he wanted the cabin "ready to go" for the upcoming season. We presented him with the quote and he quickly accepted. We were able to get the property scheduled to be cleaned within three weeks.

The house washing went as planned with everything coming clean as it should. The roof cleaning, however, took a little more time as most of the roof was covered with fire moss. Fire moss presents significant struggles when it come to roof cleaning as the chemical algaecide must be applied at max strength to ensure the fire moss soaks up as much as possible in order to kill the moss at the roots. Taking our time to ensure the roof was covered properly, we were able to successfully kill the moss down to the roots and watched throughout the day as the moss turned from green to orange to yellow, to white. When moss turns white, you know the growth has been killed and the roof can then be rinsed using low pressure to remove the moss and algae.

The customer contacted us a few days later as he had been out of town, but wanted to express how happy he was with the job!
