Impressive Roof Cleaning & Spotless Concrete Cleaning In Tuscaloosa, AL
The prestigious neighborhood, Crown Pointe, in Tuscaloosa, AL is a beautiful neighborhood in it's own right. The biggest drawback however to living in this neighborhood is the amount of trees providing shade and the close proximity to Lake Tuscaloosa. This may not sound like a drawback, but when it comes to keeping a home free of algae, it becomes a struggle. When you couple Alabama's high humidity levels with a lot of shade, you have the perfect growing situation for algae and moss.
This home's roof had plenty of algae growth on the shingles that needed to be neutralized and removed. The process of doing this is fairly simple to the trained professional. Care must be taken in the preparation stage to ensure all surrounding grass, flowers, and bushes are not harmed by the chemical cleaning solution being used to kill the algae growth. Although the cleaning solution is biodegradable, it is still an algaecide and has the potential for damage to organic plant life. Roof cleanings are always performed using our low pressure soft wash system to ensure shingle integrity and preserve the shingle roofing manufacturer's warranty.
The concrete of this beautiful home was also showing signs of dirt and grime buildup. While the chemical cleaning solution is the same, the strength of the mixture is not quite as strong. The preparation stage is the same, while the cleaning stage is accomplished using high pressure. The main body of any concrete cleaning project is always cleaned using a rotary surface cleaner, and the edging out is completed using a wand.
The before pictures were taken in the colder months, and the after pictures were taken in late spring when the job was performed. The homeowner stated that he was getting the house ready to go on the market and wanted to wait a few months. This is the reason for the difference in the trees in the background.
