This concrete cleaning in Chelsea, AL was a relatively easy task. The homeowners were looking just to brighten things up a little by having their driveway, walkway, and curbs pressure washed. Both of them being retired, opted to have us come out and do it for them as it was mid-summer and the heat was really kicking up. The homeowner stated that usually he does it, but some health problem had him down in late spring/early summer and that time had just "gotten away" from him. We thanked him for the opportunity, and reassured him that he would not be disappointed.

We started like we normally do by watering all of the grass bordering any concrete that we would be cleaning that could be "burned" by the algaecide we use to apply our pre-treatment. After ensuring all of the grass had enough water sprayed onto it, we applied a pre-treatment to soften and breakup the compacted dirt and grime that sat on top of the concrete. After allowing the treatment to dwell for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, we started cleaning the concrete using our 20 inch rotary surface cleaner, and we trimmed out with a wand and a 40 degree tip. We then rinsed all of the washed areas with medium pressure water to wash away all of the dirty water that was a result of the cleaning. Our final step was to apply a post-treatment that would aid in deep cleaning and brightening in the coming weeks.

The customer came to look at the finished product and was stunned. He said that he may just let us do it from then on since he wasn't getting any younger and it seemed like the summers were getting hotter!
